Barness Crossing Solo Duo Festival, Cologne
The main focus of a solo “Feeling Backwards” is “faceing” - embodying emotions and telling personal and intimate stories of a women, without using words, gestures or expressions thrugh face or eyes. The main transfering material is her nacked back, as her other face. The piece allowes to follow the storie in f.ex seatle movements of muscles, skin, floating hair... She “says”: I still can “see” You, I can still feel that You see me. I dont need to look at You. I still remember You.
Through this dance of the back that piece embrases the past, and things which are behind us, but still strongly and fully alive in our minds and bodies.
